Bourgogne Chardonnay
Cistel
The accessible pleasure of a great classic. The pure expression of fruit. An invitation to conviviality and sharing.
Tasting notes and pairings
This greenish-gold wine reveals a fresh citrus nose. The palate is well-balanced between roundness and freshness, with notes of white flowers. Lively and aromatic, it will pair wonderfully with a dinner aperitif, petits fours, tapas, or even a mushroom and Parmesan risotto. Serve between 10 and 12°C.
Our Vineyard
This 100% Chardonnay Bourgogne comes from grapes harvested in southern Burgundy.

Etymology
Along with the winegrower monks of Cluny, the monks of Cîteaux made Burgundy a unique wine region in the world, combining a constant search for excellence in expertise with the notion of local wine ("terroir," "climate," "clos"). This wine is a tribute to the meticulous work carried out by the monks since the 10th century. Cistel takes its name from the Latin cistellum, meaning "reed." At the time, Cîteaux was a sparsely cultivated area where reeds grew in abundance.
